VMDirect was launched in 1996 by Craig Ellins and Amy Black, who are now main directors of this firm. This company has received many setbacks due to the infamous 9/11 attack, and the company is striving hard to keep itself alive.

The business philosophy behind the VM Direct Company was to induce people to contribute various media to the internet. This philosophy was greatly helped by the rise of the popular social networking sites which hooked people of all ages. People started using these sites to connect with everyone else and they started sharing tips, tricks and information about business details and strategies. They highlighted the potential of ‘network’ in the marketing, with millions of people online and the number growing by the day, and all of this possible with negligible costs. So, VM Direct markets its ideas using the direct sales approach.

For VM Direct, Mr. Richard Kall was the thinker behind this philosophy. He is a world renowned businessman, and has a wealth of knowledge about the industry. He took over controlling interest of VM Direct in 2003, and now the company works under his guidance and directives.

The services offered by VM Direct include video Blogging, instant messaging and active media streaming among many others. Another service offered by VM Direct is live broadcasts and other important videos which can be seen with the use of a computer. Though the company claims that all these services offered are cutting edge and will be as necessary as water in the near future, many of the services are too costly and can be obtained for free from some internet websites.

VM Direct customers can choose between a package with a fee of $10-$40 per month and a retailer needs to pay anything from $80-$2000 one time with a monthly charge of $50-$200. The main product offered is the Hello World.

There are four plans laid down by VMD to allow a person to become an affiliate. The basic package is at a one time fee of $79 and a monthly fee of $49.00, and the other packages start from $299 upfront and $69 monthly, non inclusive of taxes. The other package is almost the same as the Basic package, but with a few tweaks. These packages are designed to help the affiliate to build a new startup business from the comfort of his home, and provide all the guidance necessary. The company is also the host for the affiliate’s website.

Despite heavy setbacks, VMD is slowly emerging as a force to be reckoned with in the Multi Level Marketing industry. It takes a lot of courage to start a business which is so out of the box and something where there is no guarantee of success. The rise of VM Direct has given rise to a number of people who want to start similar businesses however most of them have failed because of their impatience and zero analysis of market conditions.

Randy Chambliss offers his clients in depth market analysis and also targets and identifies the strong points of a client’s proposal and helps them build their business around these points. The example of VM Direct’s success has also been analyzed and the blueprint of this business has been carefully understood and I aims to explain to his prospective clients the nuances of such a business which are integral to its success.
