So what are the network marketing pros and cons today? In other words, what type of network marketing company should you look at joining?

Of course that’s presuming you are looking for an MLM company but if you’re reading this, then there is a strong chance you are in the market. Have you given thought to exactly which network marketing companies are likely to succeed today?

It’s all part of the due diligence process when people are on the lookout for business opportunities. Part of the problem is they want to get it right the first time but the MLM landscape is littered with stories of those persistent individuals who have tried “umpteen” companies before making it in network marketing.

Corporations Meet Relationship Marketing

So this brings me to my next point – what type of network marketing company should you go after to create your financial dream? I get this question all the time and after sitting out of the industry for several years it became a lot clearer to me about the type of company which would succeed in today’s environment.

Maybe I’m clutching at straws but have you ever considered how powerful a company that brought corporate America and relationship marketing together would be? Just think about it, being able to build a network marketing business without having to convince a prospect of the validity and the potentcy of your company’s product.

Instead, people would be confronted with products and services they use everyday and more importantly, services they regard as necessary in today’s lifestyle.

So what would be the first to go when times got tough for people…energy and nutritional drinks or cell phone, internet and television service providers?

MLM Pros And Cons

You see, in a tough economy, what will be the first thing people would discard to save money. Nutrition, energy drinks, expensive juices? What would happen to a downline built with sweat equity and hard work when the tough times came along? Suddenly, a person wouldn’t be as comfortable as they normally would be living off the residuals they had built with people starting to drop off simply because they were being prudent and they stopped using these “luxury” items.

Instead of working less because they had earned it, they would be constantly trying to replace the people dropping off therefore creating a job for themselves.

The point is, when looking at networking pros and cons be a little careful with one or two product companies especially those producing things such as drinks and juices. How viable are these type of luxury items in a stale economy? What are the chances of building a business with a solid retention rate?

Remember, corporate America, UK, Australia etc. meets relationship marketing. That is a powerful recipe for network marketing success early in the 21st century.
