Over a year ago we recommended to several clients that a social media optimization (”SMO”) strategy was essential to catch the next wave of Internet marketing. Back then, heavy-weights like the Stompernets and Brad Fallons were training their expert search engine optimizers on the benefits of SMO; and the critical need to get on-board soon before the world caught on. However, our clients didn’t take our advice back then. They did not understand social media and, well, were too afraid to use it.

Now, a year later, everyone and his brother is using social media to market his website. And, ranking in google for keyword phrases is no longer measured by “backlinks” alone; presence in the social media arena also plays in the ranking formula. I still hear search engine optimizers denying the importance of social media. “If it isn’t a ‘do-follow’ backlink, it doesn’t matter,” they say.

Bull!

Clients are now complaining that they cannot rank in the search engines as easily as they could a year ago. I would like to say: “Well, in 2007 I suggested you get a google video channel going and start using social networking sites! Now, a year later, your competitors have 12 months head start. You are screwed!”

But, that would be unprofessional. So, I’ll just do the hard yards and get the clients caught up. Social media optimization is now commonplace for the corporates. It’s time to take it seriously, Internet marketing clients, and get your websites social media optimized!

So, ask your Internet marketer what his strategy is to leverage social media. See what he says. His response should include a presence on the following:

1. youtube (and other video-sharing sites)
2. twitter
3. scribd (and other document-sharing sites)
4. squidoo
5. hubpages
6. gather
7. ezinearticles
8. flikr (and other image-sharing sites)
9. stumbleupon (and other social-bookmarking sites)

If your social media optimization consultant discusses these 9 items, he should get your marketing dollar!

Each year, a large number of business owners rely on Internet marketing
to get their new business up and running or to keep their existing business going strong. Are you interested in becoming one of those business owners? If so, congratulations; it is difficult and sometimes even impossible to run a successful business without marketing. That is why it is important that you give your business all of the marketing attention that it needs and deserves.

When it comes to Internet Marketing, you will find that any marketing is better than no marketing at all. Despite this, you may want to focus most of your time on innovative Internet marketing ideas. Innovative Internet marketing ideas are ideas that are fairly new. One of the few downsides to using innovative Internet marketing ideas is that since most have yet to be proven, because they are relatively new, you may not know if they are really worth or your time or your money. That is why there are a number of important factors that you should take into consideration, especially if you are planning on marketing your business while on a budget.

If you are interested in marketing your business, but while on a budget, you can still do so. The only difference is that you will have a little bit more research to do than most others, namely business owners who have an unlimited marketing or advertising budget. As previously mentioned, innovative Internet marketing ideas are ideas that are relatively new. That means that they have likely not been proved effective yet. Despite wanting to wait until they are effective, you shouldn’t. The good thing about using innovative Internet marketing strategies is that because they are new, the chances of your competition using those same strategies are slim. In a way, using innovative Internet marketing strategies gives you an edge over your competition.

Although you can get the upper hand, by using innovate Internet marketing ideas, you may find that not all ideas turned out the way that you wanted them to. That is why you are advised to be cautious when looking to implement new, innovative internet marketing ideas, especially if those ideas are costly. As previously mentioned, you are advised to give new Internet marketing ideas a try, even if they have yet to be proven. Before implementing those ideas, it may be a good idea to examine the costs associated with doing so. Although business is all about taking risks, you may not want to take a risk that you cannot afford to take. There are a number of different, affordable, Internet marketing strategies that you can use, that are guaranteed to produce the results that you are looking for.

If you would still like to have your business benefit from innovative Internet marketing ideas, but you are unsure what to do, you may want to think about hiring the services of a professional. In most cases, you will find that these professionals are referred to as Internet marketing specialists. An Internet Marketing specialist is an individual who can brainstorm marketing ideas and execute them, without you having to do any of the work. What is nice about most Internet marketing specialists is that they tend to charge a flat-rate fee for their services. This means that you can get a whole Internet marketing package, which includes new and old ideas, for a reasonable fee. In addition to the fees being reasonable, you may find that the results are even better; that is because professional Internet marketing specialists are good at what they do.

Whether you choose to develop and implement your own innovative Internet Marketing strategies or you rely on a professional to do it for you, your business should be able to get the marketing that it needs and deserves to have. What is nice is that you can also do it while on a budget; which is a great way to make sure that your business is a profitable one.

Relocating with a child can be very hectic for any family. You have the frequent potty breaks, the continuing question of “are we there yet”, and the children thinking they are hungry each time they pass a fast food sign. The key to stopping most of these issues is proper preparation.

Take the time to plan your path including rest area stops; this will get rid of the stress of having to find a restroom. You should include a back pack just for your children with snacks and small toys to play with along the way; this will help them stay occupied. If your move is going to need a moving truck rental your child is not going to have much comfort in the cab. You should consider playing games with them as you make the trip, like guessing games about what you see, or even having them try to find all 50 states worth of license plates along the way. If you are only going to need a day trip or less, it may be helpful for you to wait and drive at night, as you would have the advantage of avoiding heavy traffic, and having your child sleep.

Another key to proper preparation is to do your research to locate truck rentals for moving that fit within your budget, yet have the room you will need for all of your things. If at all possible, you will want to keep your move down to a single trip to have it be cost efficient. One way that you could do this is pack as few boxes as possible. In other words, if you have a lot of fragile things, don’t pack them alone. Save a few boxes by utilizing your small towels to wrap the fragile things. You would be surprised at the little things you can do to save space.

With the right preparation, cheap moving trucks can be located. There are companies that will give deals of unlimited mileage for in town use. You may also find deals on weekly truck rentals that you wouldn’t get on only a day or two’s rental. You would benefit by looking at your local companies to find out which ones give the best rates on mileage, as this is where people end up spending more than we expect. You may also find a company that offers a discount through your current employer. You would be amazed at the amount you could possibly save.

Here is one internet marketing technique that is cost efficient and a little more adventurous for you the “Business Owner.”

Become an Expert

What is your business? Look around at your competition. How do they present themselves to the general public? How can you present yourself differently?

Go buy a local newspaper, local magazine, listen to your local radio station; watch your local TV station. Are any of your competitors currently marketing themselves as an expert in your field?

Contact your local media and discuss the various ways that you could work with them. Local newspapers and magazines will have opportunities to write “Advice” articles. Local radio and TV stations may have talk shows that could host you weekly or monthly.

Contact the various local organizations that are looking for speakers for their monthly luncheons. Your Chamber of Commerce is an ideal place to start. Join your Chamber and get an article about you and your business published in their monthly magazine.

Study your customers and choose the type of media that would reach them. Talk to your current customers and ask them to give you their opinion about which area you should market in. Find out what they listen to and what they read, and what organizations they belong to. For more please visit internet marketing

What type of personality do you have?

Make sure that your personality matches your marketing strategy. Radio and TV would be a perfect match for you if you enjoy speaking in front of people, have an outgoing personality and a voice that carries well. Newspaper and magazine article writing will be perfect for you if you do not enjoy speaking in front of groups.

Becoming an expert in your area of business will not take years to achieve. Stay on top of the latest news about your business. Subscribe to trade publications to keep informed about new trends. The Internet offers many ways to stay informed on any topic.

The key to becoming an expert is to take the knowledge you have and the new information received and decide how your customers can benefit from this information. Not all news is beneficial to your customers.

Your goal is to cause your customers to look at you as the one to come to when they need what you are selling. You want them to refer their family and friends to you.

Don’t be shy. Go out there and market yourself as the expert that you are. The more exposure that you receive, the more exposure your business will receive. Article by internet marketing#%

Writing Effective Emails

Posted on: 26th, Oct

You have joined a great business and you want to create a downline to make it a success. Or you have found something that you believe will interest a good majority of the web users.

You make your decision to begin a mass emailing campaign. Have you got what it takes to write an email and get the replies flying in? This article is courtesy of Document Management

Most of us send out emails almost every day we do it so often with out even thinking about it, as a result they are often written and sent out less than perfect and fail to produce the desired result.

The purpose of sending out mass email is usually intended to attract visitors to view a website rather than make a sale, therefore it is important to take your time and define your aim precisely before writing the email.

Keep it simple and brief; avoid using long or technical words as some people may not understand them. Do not use three words where one will suffice. If the email is long and full of waffle boredom will set in and without a doubt it is likely to be deleted before reaching the end of it.

The opening paragraph is vital. If it does not click with the reader right away you have wasted your time sending it.

Even the best writers spend time editing and rewriting their article or email. For more information, please visit Document Management

Start with an eye catching headline. It might be a question or statement. You must grab their attention right away. Look at it from your readers point of view, is it forceful enough or exciting to make you want to read on and discover the end result?

Headlines hook prospects and lead them to the next line. There you start to build their interest to ensure they read the next sentence… and each subsequent one.

You might even find it is worth offering a free gift or a monthly newsletter that would help their business. There are plenty of free e-books on the web that you can give away.

If the intention of your email is to make a sale then offer a guarantee or a full refund this should dispel any fears they may have.

A cheeky way to test out your email is to send it to a couple of friends who are interested in business, add a message at the end of it and ask them to email you.

If you don’t receive a reply then you know your email was discarded before they reached your message, it is then a good idea to edit your email and remove any unneeded text. Visit Document Management for more information

The most used element in this world is Fire. With fire we can make a lot of things like light, energy, heat, food and combustion. Thus fire became an everyday use at home specially when cooking and putting light during the night. This element both has its advantage and disadvantages and is both very useful and harmful in nature.

During a chemical reaction a fire creates light that becomes so attractive in our eyes even from a great distance. Out of curiosity we always draw into the light like moths trying to get close to the lamp. Curiosity kills a cat as they say, which is true in many ways like we go to places or do things out of curiosity just to try how they taste and feel without even thinking the dangers and harmful effects of it.

Most kids under the age of five are curious about fire. Often what begins as a natural exploration however can lead to tragedy.
Fire is fast. In less then 30 seconds a small flame can get completely out of control and turn into a major fire. Unfortunately most kids don’t think about what could happen. I remember myself playing a magnifying lens and a box of matches when suddenly the box burst into flames and caught my hands on fire fortunately I just got minor burns, blisters and worst bruised ass because my grandma slapped my butt endlessly for using his Folding Reading Glasses as an experiment.
In some cases, children set fires out of more than curiosity. This group of children are often classified as ”juvenile firesetters”, that is, they use fire in a way that is dangerous or not approved by parents.
For safety and precaution you should keep away objects that drives them to do such things such as matches, lighters and High Power Reading Glasses with thick lenses as they may mistakenly use it as another Magnifying Glasses experiment.
